Make the Smartphone a Good Friend
For me, the smartphone is not just a phone.I often use my smartphone to play games when I need a break from studying.Listening to music is another thing that I enjoy on my phone. The smartphone is also my window to the world.I watch educational videos, read books, and research topics that interest me.
However, I’ve realized that the smartphone can get in the way of my study if it is not used wisely.I had wasted a lot of time on the online games and short videos before I noticed it.So I have to manage my screen time.
To make the smartphone a good friend, we should use it as a tool to enhance our lives, not as a replacement for real-world experiences.By using it responsibly, we can ensure that the smartphone remains a positive force in our lives.

第三节
听下面一篇短文。按照你所听内容的先后顺序将下列图片排序。短文读两遍。
Hand gestures are part of body language. The same hand gesture means different things in different countries. Here are five hand gestures.
The first gesture is very common in our life.In Western cultures, you can give somebody the thumbs up if you think something is very great. You can also use it when you’re in need of a ride. But in Germany, it means “one”.
The second sign is very popular in Japan.People like to make the sign while taking pictures.
It makes their faces look cuter and smaller. In the US, this gesture means “victory” and “peace”.
The third one is an American cultural gesture that means greeting or celebration. And it is also sometimes thought as “Give me Five”.People usually like to use the sign when they win games.
The next sign is used to call someone to come closer to you.But in most countries in Asia, this gesture isn’t welcome because they only do this to pets. It’s very impolite if you do it to people.
The last sign can be seen everywhere. In most of the English-speaking countries, you can use this sign if you want to let people know you’re alright. But it means “money” in Japan while “zero” or “nothing” in France.
