Good morning! My name is Mike and I’m your guide today, I’ll introduce a few places to you. Before we start, though, does everyone have a copy of the map of the university? You should really keep this with you for the first couple of weeks, at least until you know where all the buildings are. Today we’ll visit some of the most important places. First, we’ll go to the office building where you’ll get a guide book of your school life. Next, we’ll go to the library. I think you’ll be interest ed in the great collection of books. Then, we’ll have a look at the gym. You’ll find a lot of fun there. And finally, we’ll go to the teahouse where you’ll probably spend a lot of time communicating with each other at least until your classes begin. The numbers of the rooms for your classes will be in the guide book you get in the office building, and it’ll be up to you to find those rooms yourselves. So, if there’s no question, we’ll start our tour now.

I’m Tony. My friends and I went for a walk through the forest on May 1st. We looked up and saw some trees, about fifty meters tall. And there were so many animals up there. Down we saw millions of ants, all busy collecting food. I went a short distance and then met a young man. He asked me where I came from and when I told him I was from China, he was very interested. We talked for two hours. It was very interesting and he taught me a lot about the natural environment here.
We had a great lunch of forest fruit. We enjoyed sitting outside. Sitting outside made us feel free and relaxed. There was a heavy rain, but we were dry with all the leaves above us. The forest was like a huge green umbrella. We really had a good time here.
I had a wonderful day.
