【应答对策】
这类题要注意谈话的核心以及总结。考生不仅要能听懂对话的内容，而且要从一个说话者和另一个说话者的对话内容中判断出对话的结果、行为趋向以及逻辑关系。这类题型是听力题中最难的部分。它要求考生具有较高的语言实际应用能力和综合判断能力。考生不仅要辨别对话中的细节和事实；还要在听懂对话内容的基础上，根据对话的情景、关键词、上下文、语气等，对信息做出综合概括；利用逻辑推理，判断领会说话人的意图、态度以及原因，针对选项内容对信息进行筛选处理，从而推断出合乎情理的结论。
【例1】What can we learn from the conversation?

B. The neighbours probably won’t turn down the music.
C. He wants to listen to different music.
W: I’m going to ask the neighbours to turn the music down. I can’t bear the noise.
M: Do you really think it makes any differences to them?
【解析】对话中，女士打算要求邻居把音乐放小一点，男士说：”Do you really think it makes any difference to them?”暗示他们的邻居根本就没有考虑到会影响左邻右舍。因此，可以推断的是：即使要求他们这样做，他们也不会理睬。答案是B。

【解析】考生首先应听懂谈话的内容和主题；其次，针对题目而言是对这一段话的整体考核。A选项很明显从男士说话中的关键词”on business”知道是错误的。C选项的”at hospital”在对话中没有出现，如果选C，那是主观的臆断。故选项B为正确答案，也是从两个人的对话中推断出来的。
