Six years ago,六年前，

Mike could read and draw, 麦克会读会画，

but he could not write.但是他不会写。 

Now he can do many things.现在他能做许多事情了。

Twenty years ago,二十年前， 

Mr Brown wrote letters to his friends. 布朗先生写信给他的朋友。

He used the telephone at home and in the office to call people.他在家里和办公室给人们打电话。

Now he has a mobile phone 现在他有了手机，

and he can call people anywhere.他可以在任何地方给人打电话。 

He also writes emails.他还写电子邮件。

Thirty years ago, 三十年前，

Mike's grandpa listened to the radio and read newspapers for news. 麦克的爷爷听收音机看报纸了解新闻。

Now he can read and watch news on the Internet.现在他可以在网络上看新闻。

He reads e-books too.他也看电子书。

Twenty years ago, 二十年前，

Mrs Brown made friends at school.布朗夫人在学校交朋友。

She bought things from shops.从商店买东西。 

Now she has e-friends from all over the world.现在她又来自世界各地的网友。 

She does shopping on the Internet too.她也在网上购物。
