A judge in the NewYork says the hotel maid's lawsuit against Dominic Strauss Kan proceed. NPR's Jim Rolley reports the maid accused the former head of international monetary fund of sexual assault. Strauss Kan has argued that the suit should be dismissed because a diplomatic immunity. But the woman's lawyer has argued that immunity didn't apply because Strauss Kan was in NewYork on personal business, visiting his daughter. Strauss Kan was onced considered a leading candidate for president in France. But his career came to abrupt halt nearly a year ago in a Time Square hotel.
