U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued a stark warning to North Korea, saying it "bets not make any more threats to the United States, they will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen."
The president's remarks came hours after several media outlets reported that U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency reached the conclusion last month that North Korea has successfully built a miniaturized nuclear warhead it could fit inside its missiles.
Trump [forced] used forceful language rivaling but frequently heard from Pyongyang. It is certain to prompt concern that war could resume on the Korean peninsula, where three years of combat in the early 1950s ended in a stalemate.
South African President Jacob Zuma has survived a no-confidence vote. Zuma has weathered seven similar votes in the past.
A successful vote this time would have required President Zuma and his entire cabinet to resign.
Mmusi Maimane, the leader of the Democratic Alliance, characterized the vote as a choice between two polar opposites. "Today our choice is between right and wrong. Between good and evil."
The Democratic Alliance brought the motion to parliament and said Zuma's corruption allegations made him unfit to hold the highest office in South Africa.
Kenyans cast ballots in a highly contested nationwide polls, facing rain and both hot and cold weather conditions throughout the day.
The presidential race pits current President Uhuru Kenyatta against his longtime rival, opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Official results are expected by Friday. However, early results put Kenyatta with 55 percent of the vote.
