M: Sorry ,I forgot to return the book for you.

M: I’m awfully sorry, but l lost the pen you lent me.

W: I’m very sorry ,but I forgot to post letter for you.

M: I beg your pardon for my behavior this morning.

M: I'm terrible sorry ,Won't you let me pay for it?

W: Adam. I’m sorry.

M: Where have you been, Alice, you're over an hour late.

W: Yes, But I couldn’t help it. I was late getting off work for a start and then I miss the bus. The bus I did catch that got cut in the traffic jam. It was one thing after another.

M: why were you getting off work so late? Your office close at six, doesn’t it?

W: Yes. But there is the rush on that moment. And my boss ask me to do some urgent letters.

M: Didn’t you tell him you have an appointment?

W: Well, no. I thought I'd finish in about five minutes. and I didn’t want to be difficult about just few minutes ,if it hadn’t been missing the bus and the traffic I wouldn’t have been so late. I’m sorry.

M: Well. You’re here. Let’s the mean thing.
