Mrs Jackson: Hello, Mrs Jackson here. 

Betty: Hello, Mrs Jackson. It’s Betty here. I’m sorry to call you at home. Can I speak to Mr Jackson, please? 

Mrs Jackson: Hold on, please. I’ll go and get him. 

Mr Jackson: Hello Betty, what can I do for you? 

Betty: I’m doing the invitations for the school-leavers’ party. I need to check some information. Is it on Saturday? 

Mr Jackson: Yes. It’s on Saturday, the 30th of May, at 5 pm. 

Betty: Saturday, the 30th of May, at 5 pm. And where will it be held? 

Mr Jackson: Oh, in the school hall. 

Betty: What about food? 

Mr Jackson: Ask everyone to bring a traditional dish—but make sure it’s finger food, something easy to eat. And Daming’s looking after the music.
