Beijing has come under fog, rain and snow, all in a single day.

The capital was shrouded in thick fog for most of Saturday. More than 300 flights were delayed. Rain showered across areas from the north to south in the afternoon.

As the fog warning was lifted at nine pm local time, the snow took a turn. And Beijing saw its heaviest snowfall since the start of this year. The Meteorological Center is forecasting a cold front hitting the country's north and northeastern regions, bringing a temperature drop of six to ten degrees.
