The United States says it has carried out ten more air strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq.The Pentagon said remotely piloted aircraft and fight jets backed by those from Saudi Arabia Jordan and United Arab Emirates hit seven targets in Syria and three in Iraq.Forward has been to besiege Syrian town of Kobane near the Turkish border.
Warplanes circled over Kobane throughout the night into the morning and in the early hours, a series of explosions were heard but Pentagon later confirmed that these were US air strikes hitting an Islamic State building and two armed vehicles.The air strikes did not stop the skirmishing around the Kobane that also decide the town's fate as we left the area we watched the shells fire from Islamic State positions landed in the town, a number of people were killed and injured we were told later.
The Syrian al-Qaeda linked group al-Nusra Front denounced the air strikes as a war against Islam and threatened to retaliate against the western and Arab countries involved.A spokesman for the Free Syrian Army has said his organization supports the air strikes against the Islamic State militants in Syria but opposes any action that caused civilian casualties.Hussam al-Marie told the BBC that western countries should carry out air strikes against the government in Damascus too.
So called Islamic State is our enemy as much as Assad regime is our enemy.We want Syria free from dictatorship and from terrorism.We can not accept terrorists to establish their states on our lands.We need the support from the free world to continue this battle against the regime and ISIS at the same time,we are fighting in two fronts.
