US media are reporting that President Trump’s son-in-law, the senior White House Advisor, Jared Kushner is under scrutiny by the FBI inquiry into alleged Russian interference into last year’s election. Reports say investigators relieved that Mr. Kushner may provide relevant information but he is not necessarily suspected of crime. Mr. Kushner is understood to have met Russian officials last year. His lawyer said Mr. Kushner had already volunteered to share with congress what he knew about those meetings and would do the same if contacted in connection with any other inquiry.

British police investigating the Manchester suicide bombing have decided to resume the sharing of intelligence information with their US counterparts for operation was temporarily suspended after details of the investigation were leaked to US media.
