What is distance training?

Distance training is an educational process where a significant proportion of teaching is conducted by someone removed in space and time from the learner.

Here are some benefits of distance training:

• It is usually cheaper than group training.

Here is a disadvantage of distance training:

• Quality control is difficult. You need to develop quality-control mechanisms, such as tests, interviews, or performance observations to insure the quality of the training.
