The center-bound book

A center-bound book is a series of pages that are folded in half and bound together in the middle.

Here is a positive feature of a center bound book:

• It lays flat when open.

Here are some negative features of a center-bound book:

• It may lose center pages if it is not securely bound.
• The thicker the book, the more trimming it will require.

• Arranging pages and collating is complicated.
