一、教学目标与要求

1．复习第四单元的有关做家务的内容。

2．通过诵读歌谣接触十二个月的名称。

二、教学重、难点分析

本课时的教学重点是让学生将第四单元的中心语言融为一体，在具体情景中能自然运用。难点是十二个月份的名称认读。

三、课前准备

1．教师准备一本小台历和本课时所用的单词卡。

2．教师准备实物投影仪、录音机及录音带。

3．教师准备动词短语卡片。

四、教学步骤和建议

1．热身（Warm-up）

（1）播放第四单元歌曲“I Can Help”，学生跟唱。

（2）日常会话。可参考句型：What can you do ? Can you cook the meals ? Can you wash the clothes ? Can you clean the bedroom ? Can you empty the trash ?

2．预习（Preview）

（1）播放第四单元B Let's chant 部分的哥谣录音，学生边说边做动作。

（2）做“连锁问答”游戏：教师借助动作图片或短语给学生以提示。

如：S1: Can you clean the bedroom ?

S2: Yes, I can．Can you make the bed ?

S3: No, I can't．Can you do the dishes ?

...

3．新课呈现（Presentation）

Let's read

（1）教师在“连锁问答”的最后一个环节，拿出图片或词条“Cook the meals”, 提问：Can you cook the meals ? Who can cook the meals, your father or your mother? Your father/mother isn't at home today．Who cooks the meals ? What can you do ?

（2）教师拿出Let's read 的插图，介绍：Mother monkey isn't at home today．What can the monkey do ? 播放课文录音，请学生认真听。

（3）就课文内容说句子，让学生判断句子正误。

句子包括：Mother monkey is at home．

The monkey can cook the meals．

The monkey can't wash the clothes．

The monkey can empty the trash．

The monkey can help his dad．

（4）学生打开学生用书，分角色读一读故事。

（5）请学生戴上头饰表演故事。

Let's chant

（1）教师借助一相小台历用节日引出十二个月份的名称，如：New Year's day is in January. 然后手拿台历带读、操练月份名称。

（2）教师放歌谣录音，引导学生跟读。

4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）

（1）做“动作接力赛”游戏。教师出示有关动作指令的词条，学生朗读后放入盒子，然后请7-8个学生上来站成一排，排首同学在盒子中抽取词条，做相应的动作给第二个同学看，大家依次传递动作，最后一个学生做完动作后，其他学生提问：What can you do ? 由最后一名学生作答。

（2）小调查。教师设计一份大表格，按照学生的人数复印后发给学生。然后学生离开位置，询问同学完成调查，教师要适时教育学生热爱劳动。
