Authors: Ken Darby, Elvis Presley, and Vera Matson
Comments: Daniela says, "My mother is the biggest Elvis Presley fan I know. I have grown up listening to Elvis and along with my brother and sister we have been singing along with my mom for as long as we can remember. One day me and my mom were sitting around talking about tattoos and she said if she could (she has zero tolerence when it comes to pain) she would get 'Love Me Tender.' I thought it was perfect and Love Me Tender is also one of my favorite Elvis movies so I thought it would be perfect for a first tattoo. I love it and so does my mom! Elvis is truly timeless and I feel that this tattoo will stay timeless to me as well."
Note: "Love Me Tender" was sung by Elvis Presley in 1956. The song was written to the tune of "Aura Lee," a Civil War ballad with music by George R. Poulton and lyrics by W.W. Fosdick.
