Over the next two weeks, families and friends will gather to share traditional meals, exchange gifts, and invite blessings for the year ahead. As one of the luckiest animals in the Chinese zodiac, the dragon offers hope for good luck and health over the next 12 months.
这也被称为春节，中国新年意味着新的开始。在接下来的两个星期里，家人和朋友将聚在一起分享传统美食，交换礼物，并为来年祝福。作为中国十二生肖中最幸运的动物之一，龙给人们带来了未来12个月好运和健康的希望。

The vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations reflect the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Chinese Canadian communities, passed down through generations. For all of us, they also offer an opportunity to recognize the ongoing contributions of more than 1.7 million Chinese Canadians who help make our country more inclusive and diverse.
