PEP BOOK5 Unit5 Part A let’s talk生活化教学设计

杜威曾经说过,教育即生活。英语学科也好,其他学科也好,其真正的意义和价值在于我们教学活动的开展能基于生活、面向生活、方便生活。新课标要求教师应从学生的兴趣和原有的知识水平、生活经验出发,创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务,达到我们预期的教学目标。如何进一步提高学生的实际语言运用能力,让我们的英语课堂教学走进学生生活、走入幼小心灵、走出教学误区、走向美好未来呢?于是有了在平时课堂中引进生活化教学模式的想法。
下面以PEP BOOK5 Unit5PartA let’s talk这一课时为例,来谈谈自己的生活化教学设计。

Step1. warm up and revision
a. let’s sing --- the color song
red and yellow and pink and green….

反思评价:小学英语不同于其他学科,在课外使用率相对较低,因此学生对于知识的遗忘率也大大高于其他学科。在课前几分钟采用吟唱轻松英语歌谣的形式,在复现英语旧知识的同时,又可以帮助学生集中注意力,尽早地进入学习状态。
d. readand play
T let s read the word cards first and then play a memorizing game.
T show some rooms with different furniture in several seconds and then therooms disappear .
T:Look,this is Xiaoxin’s room.
What’s it like?
S: There is a TV, a table,a sofa ,a trash bin and a dog.
反思评价:利用生动活泼的多媒体课件来重现单词句型,避免了复习的枯燥性。同时为了增加英语课堂的亲和力,杜绝一味的机械操练。笔者还为每一个待以描述的房间选一位学生熟悉的主人。(如上例中是蜡笔小新的房间和可爱的卡通家具)其中可以是班级里的某位同学或学校里的某位老师或电视卡通片里的某个角色或人物。
Step2. Presentation

T: The rooms are so nice.
I will show you my own room now.
I have my own room. What about you?
S: I have my own room.
T:Really?
S:Yes. Look.
T:Great!what’s it like?
S:There’s a bed, a closet, a desk etc.
反思评价:教学内容的生活化决定了课堂组织形式的生活化,课堂组织形式的生活化又将促进教学内容的生活化。本单元的主题是我的新房间。因此教师可以在课前布置任务让为各自的房间画一幅简笔画然后在课堂上大家作介绍。或者发挥学生的创新能力让学生设计一个未来自己的理想房间。
b. guessinggame
T: Mike has a new room. What’s it like?
Can you guess?
S1:There’s a bed.
T:What color is it?
S2:It’s yellow.
T:Any more?
S: There’s a yellow bed, a brown desk, and a blue trash bin.
There are bule curtains.
c. let’s try – listen and tick
反思评价:授之以鱼,不如授之以渔。在英语课堂上,学法的指导也是至关重要的。平时应该注意培养学生良好的听的习惯,并且善于听准关键词,找出突破口。
d. Videotime
T:What about Sarah?
(T play the video for the class.)
Sarah: I have my own room now .
Chen: Really? What’t it like?
T stop the video and let s look at the screen and talk about it.
S:There are blue curtains.
There is a big closet, a new air–conditioner and a new mirror.
反思评价:近几年来,多种现代教育技术手段以其丰富的色、声、图、文以其动感、技巧,生动直观、及时准确地传递大量的社会生活信息,这不仅极大地丰富了教学内容,开阔了学生视野,而且为促进课堂教学生活化搭建了优质的平台。这里let’s talk以录象播放的形式,给学生的感官体验不再是硬邦邦的英语单词句子的听力输入,而是活生生的人物对话的呈现。
Step3.drills

Step4.consolidation
a. what’s different
T show the rooms in twos. Then ask s to tell what’s different in Room A andRoom B.
S: There is ….. in Room A.

反思评价:学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。教
b. roomdesigner
T ask s to discuss in groups and then design different room for different perons .
Eg: Uncle Yangliwei’s room(宇航员杨利伟)

Hubing ‘s room(著名模特胡兵)
There’s a big closet, a big mirror, and a bed.
Yaoming’s room(姚明)

反思评价:以小组讨论的形式让学生学会和他人合作。同时引用姚明等社会各界的名流做为房间的主人,让学生乐于参与到教学活动中来。同时在教学实践中,笔者欣喜地发现我们的学生可以从职业特点出发在生活细节上为他们设计地合理周到。比如学生们为姚明配置一张特大号的床,为宇航员叔叔配置大书柜和电脑以便及时地查阅航空资料等。
Step5: Assignment

总体反思:所谓课堂教学生活化是指将社会生活贯穿于教学的每一环节之中,师生在教学活动中由社会生活导入课题,运用生活实例理解知识,并运用所学知识分析解决社会生活的实际问题的过程。笔者认为英语课堂教学走向生活化应是一个渐进的过程,还需要我们在自己的岗位上更加努力地去探索,去创新。
