Dog: I want to make a new friend. 我想交新朋友。

Can you help me, Cat?  猫，你能帮我吗？

What's your favourite animal? 你最喜欢的动物是什么？

Cat: My favourite animal is Elephant. 我最喜欢的动物是大象。

He is strong and he's very clever. 他很壮也很聪明。

I really like him. 我真的非常喜欢他。

Dog: No, I don't want Elephant to be my friend. 不，我不想和大象做朋友。

He's too big and heavy. 他很大很沉。

Maybe he will sit on me. 或许他会坐在我身上。

Cat: I also really like Butterfly. 我也非常喜欢蝴蝶。

She's very friendly and she's beautiful, too. 她很亲切也很漂亮。

I think you will like her. 我觉得你会喜欢她。

Dog: No, I don't want Butterfly to be my friend. 不，我不想和蝴蝶做朋友。

She's too small. I like to play with big animals. 她太小了。我喜欢和大动物一起玩。

Cat: Do you know Turtle? 你知道乌龟吗？

He's very helpful, too. 他也很乐于助人。

He can be your new friend. 他能做你的新朋友。

Dog: No, I don't want Turtle to be my friend. 不，我不想和乌龟做朋友。 

I like playing football with my friends. 我喜欢喝朋友一起踢足球。

Turtle is too slow to play football. 乌龟太慢了踢不了足球。

Cat: All animals have good things and bad things. 所有的动物都有好有坏。

You must think about the good, not just the bad. 你必须想想好的，不能光想坏的。
