Helen Keller was born in the US in 1880.海伦·凯勒1880年出生于美国。 

She had an illness at nineteen months old.她19个月大的时候生了一场病。 

After that she couldn't see or hear.从那之后她就看不到也听不到了。

But she learnt to read,write and speak.但是她学习了读书、写字和说话。 

It was difficult,虽然很难， 

but Helen was clever and she tried hard.但是海伦很聪明，而且很努力地尝试。

Helen travelled round the world and told her story.海伦周游世界， 

She also wrote books and helped blind people.讲述她的故事。她还写了书，帮助那些盲人。

She was famous all over the world. 她在全世界都非常著名。

She is a model for blind people,她是盲人的榜样， 

and also for you and me.也是你我的榜样。
