Revision Module A 2
Activity 2 Listen and complete the table.
Tony: Look, Dad! The Music Kids are going to play at the sports centre next month. They’re a fantastic group. We must try to get tickets.
Dad: Where can we buy tickets?
Tony: At the sports centre from nine o’clock on Saturday morning.
Dad: That’ll be difficult, Tony. We’ll have to get there early and stand in line for a long time.
Tony: We can also buy tickets online—there’s a website address.
Dad: OK. Let’s try it.
Tony: Look! They’re on sale already.
Dad: Here we are…now, how many tickets do you want?
Tony: Let’s get four, for Daming, Lingling, Betty and me.
Dad: OK. Oh, no, we can only buy two—they won’t sell more than two tickets at a time.
Tony: Well, let’s forget about Lingling and Betty then! I don’t think they really like the band anyway. Let’s get two tickets, one for Daming and one for me.
Dad: They’re playing on Wednesday and Thursday.
Tony: I’d like to go on Wednesday. What time does it start?
Dad: Let me see. Oh, yes. It starts at seven o’clock.
Tony: What time does it finish?
Dad: At eleven o’clock. It’s late. I’ll meet you outside.
Tony: Great! How much?
Dad: They’re 300 yuan each.
Tony: Thanks, Dad!
