Our new foreign students are going to arrive very soon，and here are some ways to welcome them．

How close do you stand when you talk to a friend? You can stand close to people in the Middle East but don't stand too close to North Americans! Give them more personal space.

当你和朋友交谈时你站得有多近？你可以和中东地区的人站近一些，但是不要和北美人站得太近！给他们更多的个人空间。

How about touching people? Chinese girls often walk arm in arm with their friends． South Americans sometimes hold your arm when they talk to you． so you can't move away! But in Britain many people don’like other people to touch them at all.

那么关于身体接触呢？中国女孩经常和她们的朋友们臂挽着臂走在一起，南美人和你交谈时，有时会抓着你的胳膊，所以你就走不开了！但是在英国，许多人一点也不喜欢别人碰他们。

Do you look at people when you talk? In some places，it isn't polite to look at people when you talk，but in other countries it isn't polite to look somewhere else. In Britain and the US，people usually look al each other when they talk.

你和别人交谈时会看着对方吗？在一些地区，交谈时看着对方是不礼貌的，但是在其他一些国家，（交谈时）看别的地方万是不礼貌的。在英国和美国，人们交谈时通常看着对方。

And how do you say goodbye? That's easy，wave to say goodbye. But be careful！In Greece，it's not at all polite！In fact, it's very rude!

你如何告别呢？那很简单，挥手告别。但是要小心！在希腊，那绝对是不礼貌的！事实上，那很粗鲁！
