   It is the Spring Festival. We also call it Lunar New Year. 

    现在是春节。                    我们也称它为农历新年。

   people buy flowers and put them in their houses.

    人们买花，                 把它们放在家里。

   They cook delicious food for the family. They also light firecrackers.

    他们为家人做美味的食物。                             他们也放鞭炮。

   When friends meet, they wish each other happiness and good luck. 

    当朋友相见，            他们互相祝福幸福和好运。

   Their guests have nice food and drinks. 

    他们的客人吃美味的食物和和喝饮料。

   The older people give red packets to the children.

    年长者给孩子们红包。
