Mike's friend Jim is calling from Canada.He is coming to visit China in summer .He will stay in China for six weeks. Mike tells him it is sunny and windy in Beijing most of the time now,but it will rain a lot in July and August.

Jim and his parents are going to Kunming this weekend .They won't travel by train because trains are slow .They will go by plane.It will take them three and a half hours.They will stay there for the Friday .Mike tells Jim the weather in Kunming is nice.It feels like spring all year round.The four seasons are not very clear there.

Can you read ?
Rainbows are made of sunlight and water. Before and after it rains,there is a lot of water in the air. When sunlight touches the drop of water, the light scatters and we see all the colours of the rainbow.
彩虹是由阳光和水构成的。下雨前后，空气中有很多水。当阳光照射到水滴时，光散射，我们看到彩虹的所有颜色。
Light from the sun colours our world. Light can bounce scatter ,or be absorbed.Light is made up from the colours of the rainbow. We see sunlight as white, so when light bounces, it comes back to us the same colour-white.When light is absorbed, it goes away and we see darkness, We see many different colours of sunlight is scattered.
太阳光照亮我们的世界。光可以散射，也可以被吸收。光是由彩虹的颜色构成的。我们看到阳光是白色的，所以当光反弹时，它回到我们同样的白色。当光被吸收时，它消失了，我们看到黑暗，我们看到许多不同颜色的阳光被散射。
The colours of sunlight are:red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,and violet.
We can make a rainbow with water and sunlight.
阳光的颜色是红色、橙色、黄色、绿色、蓝色、靛蓝和紫色。
我们可以用水和阳光制造彩虹。
Water glass method 水玻璃法
1.Place a glass of water on a table in front of a sunny window.
1.把一杯水放在阳光充足的窗户前的桌子上。
2.Put a piece of white paper on the floor below the glass.
2.把一张白纸放在玻璃下面的地板上。
3.Move the glass or the paper until you can see the rainbow on the paper.
3.移动玻璃或纸，直到你能看到纸上的彩虹。
Mirror method 镜像法
1.Place a mirror inside a full glass of water.
1.把镜子放在一杯满水的杯子里。
2.Make sure the room is dark, and has white walls.
2.确保房间是暗的，墙壁是白色的。
3.Shine a flashlight into the glass, moving the light around until a rainbow can be see.
3.把手电筒照到玻璃上，移动光线，直到看到彩虹。
CD method 光盘法
1.Take a CD,Clean it.
1.拿一张CD，清洗它。
2.Place the CD on a table,under the sunlight.
2.把CD放在桌子上，在阳光下。
3.Look at the CD,and you will see the rainbow.
3.看看CD，你就会看到彩虹。
